A great first week in 2C…

we have had a great start to year 2 with the pupils all excited to be back in school again. This week we have hooked with the book Silly Billy written by Anthony Browne. It’s about Billy who has lots of silly worries so his grandma gives him 6 worry dolls to tell his worries to before he goes to bed. We decided we would make our own worry dolls to take home. I was so impressed with how creative the children were. They all collaborated brilliantly to help one another cut felt (which was tricky with child scissors!) and they shared resources brilliantly.
